Aashi Dental Clinic
A story of three generations
Aashi Multispeciality Dental Clinic was started by Dr VH Rane in the year 1969 when he came back to India after 11 years of dentistry practice in A Edinburg, London.
Dr Anil Chaudhari joined Aashi Multispeciality Dental Clinic in 1980 after graduating from Government Dental College, Mumbai. He did his implant course from France in 1997 after which the facility of the implant prosthesis was made available at the clinic.
The young gun, Dr Pooja Poddar joined hands in the year 2005 taking the services offered by Aashi Multispeciality Dental Clinic to the next level. She completed her graduation from Nair Dental College (Mumbai).
Aashi Dental Clinic has been providing finest dental services to the society since 51 years in a row in a professional environment, building a foundation of trust in patients care. All the treatments are done by highly qualified and experienced specialists. Located in the heart of the city, it is offers a comforting and pleasant ambience. Epitome of Selflessness
Dr. Pooja Poddar has successfully completed the required training and the qualifying examination established by NHCA Singapore for the award of Child & Adolescent Counselling
6 months accredited advance programme.
Dr. Pooja Poddar completed her graduation in dentistry from Nair Dental College (Mumbal) in 2005 and joined Aashi Dental Clinic, She went on to doing a specialized course in pedodontics under Dr Meenakshi Kher in the year 2013 and is currently practicing cosmetic and pediatric dentistry She is known for dexterous approach in patient care and painting beautiful smiles Keeping in mind the fast changes in the world of technology, she has successfully installed a number of equipments at the clinic to ensure that upgrading is done at the right time.
She has established Vidarbha’s first, one of a kind pediatric dental chair for kids at her clinic which is said to be more comfortable when working with children till 6 years of age. The chale helps kids cooperate in a better way for dental procedures. The aim was to reduce the anxiety of dental treatments and fear for the white coat of dentists among the children.
She has also conducted “Oral awareness programmes in almost 60 kindergarten schools in Nagpur in the year 2013-14, for which was awarded best social work’s trophy by Plotary Club of Nagpur.
She worked under the guidance of her father at Bhamragad projects, she collaborated in donating a mobile dental van to Baba Amte’s ashram. Her dental check-up camps for kids across Nagpur have helped her gamer a lot of appreciation.
In the year2014-2015, under the banner of Rotary club of Nagpur, Dr Pooja Poddar conducted a project for kindergarten schools called Paedopathshala for which she was awarded the Best health worker’ title in 2015. Paedopathshala is a specialised dental activity for children to control, prevent and eradicate dental caries, tooth decay and to create caries free society.
The fact that initial years of development is the best time to inculcate good habits in children, led Dr Pooja to develop the module for this initiative The module involved practical demonstration with help of models, audio visual demonstration, puzzle activities, dental check up and dental awareness pamphlets for parents and teachers.

The Stalwart of Dentistry
An expert in the field of dental health, Dr Anil Chaudhari has been working hard selflessly and treating his patients with utmost care to produce excellent results. With more than 40 years of practice, his contribution in field of dentistry has been vast as he has played an Integral role in bringing about positive changes and transforming many lives.
In 1997 he conducted a session throwing light upon fixing the implants in bone, at Indian Dental Association, Nagpur Branch. He has given various lectures and organized workshops on Implant prosthesis, since then,
Serving the society has always been his passion which can be reflected by the projects that he undertook in improving lives of the tribal community. He has given his services to Lok Biradari Prakalp at Hemalkasa which is a social project started by Padmashree Dr Prakash Amte for integrated development of Madia Gond.

His association with the Rotary club has been significant. Dr Anil Chaudhari designed a Mobile Dental Van with the help of Rotary Club Nagpur and donated to the Baba Amte’s Anandvan project at Warora. Seeking support from the club, he also successfully established a dental clinic at Melghat In March 201 at Mahatma Gandhi Tribal Hospital.
His dedication towards the services for the tribal community was recognized and acknowledge and he was conferred with multiple appreciation awards for his nobility. He was honoured by the Association of Medical Faculties Nagpur for outstanding contribution to the tribal welfare and undertaking the values of education, fraternity and service. He was also felicitated by Rotary Club of Nagpur by way of a trophy for the shaping lives of people in the rural areas.
